Learning Activities
 

Design a learning activity that incorporates at least one of the ten Instructional Methods listed in Figure 6-6, “Advantages and Limitations of Instructional Methods” (in Chapter 6 of the textbook), and at least one technology.
 

In a three- to six-page paper address the following: 

• Description of Learning Activity:  Describe the learning activity you designed,      including the grade level, subject area, and learning objectives. 

• Use the three components listed in Chapter 4 (i.e.,       performance, conditions, and criteria) when writing the learning       objectives.
• Description of Instructional Methods:  Describe the instructional method(s) from the      “Advantages and Limitations of Instructional Methods” list      (Figure 6-6, in Chapter 6 of the textbook) that you selected for this      learning activity. 
• Evaluation of Instructional Methods Selection:  Evaluate your instructional method selection      using the “Methods Selection Checklist” (Figure 6-7, in Chapter      6 of the textbook) and describe the process. 
• Explanation of Technology(-ies) Selected:  List the technology/technologies being used,      and explain why you selected it/them.
• Instructions for Technology(-ies):  Provide step-by-step instructions for using the      selected technology/technologies, keeping in mind the instructional      method(s) it is meant to support. 

Your paper must be three to six pages in length (double-spaced, not including title and reference pages) and utilize APA formatting. It must cite at least three scholarly resources (including the course text). Citations must be properly formatted in APA style.
