Results
Social media has become an important time in our daily distribution of time,
even to just to take a couple of seconds to answer to our friend in one instant
messenger apps, a couple of minutes to watch the new musical video of your
favorite artist, to being part of a bigger community that takes hours to create
new content that is uploaded every day to satisfy the users’ needs of
entertainment or even knowledge.
The data was classified by age and a descriptive analysis was made for every
age for the variable of social media usage. The descriptive statistics calculated
were: mean and standard deviation, also it was recorded the frequency for
every age. Also it was calculated the mean and the standard deviation for the
variable of social media usage for the entire sample (36 teenagers). The
results from this descriptive analysis were reviewed in Table 1.
