George’s Interpretation of His Suffering in Christianity Based on World’s Fallenness
According to the Christian narrative, the world’s fallenness and suffering are perceived as
things that cannot be separated from each other (Langley, 2014). Christians believe that the
aspect of suffering started after the creation of human beings when Adam and Eve sinned against
God when they were put in the Garden of Aden to take care of God’s creation. Before Adam and
Eve sinned, they lived freely enjoying all the produce of the garden and eating any fruits that
they were interested in. However, after Eve ate the fruit the sacred tree and made Adam to eat it
too, God became angry for them and chased them away …
